Senior Executive Business Partner

The Senior Executive Business Partner will support the Head of Economic & Community Development by acting as a strategic advisor and project leader, ensuring effective execution of the executive's priorities and alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities

Acting as a strategic advisor to the Head of ECD, helping prioritize time, information, and organizational focus
Developing a strong understanding of the ECD mission, projects, and the broader Google business to inform decision-making and operate as a reliable proxy when needed
Leading and managing cross-functional projects from kick-off to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery
Facilitating communication and collaboration across key internal partners (Finance, GDC, Legal), Google leadership, and external stakeholders
Serving as the gatekeeper for the executive’s priorities — managing approvals, administrative requests, budgets, travel, and time-sensitive decisions with daily check-ins
Planning, structuring, and facilitating organizational meetings — including staff meetings, offsites, and business reviews — with clear agendas, productive discussions, and actionable outcomes
Tracking deadlines, key actions, and follow-ups across all stakeholder groups to maintain momentum and operational excellence
Creating quick-turn decks, slides, and visual materials for executive and leadership-level reviews using existing data, dashboards, and team resources
Drafting executive communications, including emails, meeting recaps, handoffs to the ECD leadership team, presentations, and reports
Streamlining internal processes, improving workflows, and ensuring organizational clarity and accountability
