Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Electrical Technician A to join their H145 Final Assembly Line team based in Columbus, MS. The role involves performing electrical installation work, including the fabrication, repair, and replacement of aircraft electrical components and systems.

Responsibilities

Apply the basic techniques and procedures of electrical installation
Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams and different standards in the fabrication of wire harnesses and electrical components
Lay-in route wires on form board, tying, lacing and apply appropriate anti-chaff protection
Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and different electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes etc
Soldering of connectors, contacts and components
Completing forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work

Required

Minimum of four (4) years of aircraft electrical or related experience
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Familiarity with common aviation type tooling
Apply the basic techniques and procedures of electrical installation
Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams and different standards in the fabrication of wire harnesses and electrical components
Lay-in route wires on form board, tying, lacing and apply appropriate anti-chaff protection
Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and different electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes etc
Soldering of connectors, contacts and components
Completing forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work
US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

Preferred

Avionics and Cabling Class (like offered by East Mississippi Community College) is desirable
