This role will be responsible for the preparation and review of sales and use tax returns, overseeing indirect tax operations, and managing tax audits to support the company's mission in agriculture.

Responsibilities
Be a valued member of the tax team with responsibility for US indirect taxes
Oversee indirect tax operations for the US
Prepare and review property tax filings
Manage sales tax audits
Manage property tax audits
Proactively monitor tax law changes
Assist in the design and evolution of US indirect tax function after recent implementation of consistent modern tax tools
Proactively manage internal relationships to support business growth
Ability to thrive in a small team environment
Flexible, open to challenges, and willing to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Ability to work with limited supervision
Extremely organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time
Qualification
Required
Thorough understanding of sales and use tax laws and operations, as well as property tax laws
Working knowledge of accounting principles
Prior experience in the preparation and review of sales and use tax returns and property tax returns
Prior experience in managing audits
Strong analytical abilities and the ability to make decisions and recommendations
Strong communication and time management skills
Proficiency with various computer applications, including MS Excel and MS Word
Proficiency with specialized tax application software, such as OneSource Indirect Compliance (Sabrix) and OneSource Property Tax, or similar software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
