Office Operations Intern (1099, Entry Level)

RoboKind is an education technology company, whose mission is to create equitable and inclusive education for all students. The intern will work in the Grand Prairie warehouse to manage inventory, support order management processes, and handle logistics coordination, playing a key role in maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Responsible for organizing inbound and outbound materials, kitting, and shipments as needed when purchases are placed
Driving efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment, reducing errors, delays, and escalations while improving customer satisfaction
Preventing shortages in inventory, reducing costs and ensuring smooth order fulfillment
Ensure timely pick-ups from PO Box and check deposits at the bank
Ensuring timely deliveries, minimizing lost shipments, and swiftly resolves shipping issues
Other duties as assigned by Operations Team as needed

Required

Dependable and adaptable intern
Availability Wednesday–Friday from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m
Detail oriented and always willing to jump in to tackle problems

Preferred

Experience in a similar role or relevant education experience
Preference given to applicants studying supply chain, logistics, or operations management
Competency in inventory management tools including Excel
Experience with tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence, and http://Monday.com
Willingness to learn our Order Management ticketing system through HubSpot
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Highly motivated and self-directed
Capable of learning and adapting to new processes quickly
Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
