Responsibilities
Sets up and maintains software test lab including PCs, radios, service monitors, and other related equipment
Executes manual test plans, records and reports results
Maintain Subscriber devices required for infrastructure testing
Document findings, record test results and create reports
Exhibits dependability and complies with attendance requirements
Exhibits desirable and appropriate professional behavior including leadership, sense of urgency, independent judgment, teamwork, ability to get along with others, creative thinking and personal integrity to provide for a cohesive, productive unit dedicated to the achievement of corporate goals
Agrees to abide by the established Approval Matrix
Has a basic understanding of Linux and networking
Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams, flow charts, and schematics a plus
Ability to work with common personal computer applications
Ability to lift 40-70 pounds of equipment
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with company personnel
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work on site 90% of the time
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Must be a self-starter and require minimal supervision
Travel to test labs/customer sites as necessary to validate new software/hardware or troubleshoot issues. (up to 15%)
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a two-year technical college in electronics, military 0600 communications schooling or equivalent
Knowledge of land mobile radio system configurations
Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams, flow charts, and schematics a plus
Ability to work with common personal computer applications
Ability to lift 40-70 pounds of equipment
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with company personnel
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work on site 90% of the time
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Must be a self-starter and require minimal supervision
