Inside Sales/Account Manager
A.M. Leonard is a family-run business dedicated to providing high-quality horticultural products and services. They are seeking an enthusiastic Inside Sales/Account Manager to build relationships with clients, provide expert advice, and streamline operations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Building Connections: Making and answering phone calls and emails from clients (landscapers, nurseries, garden centers, and more!), providing product information, pricing, and availability
Expert Consulting: Using your growing knowledge of our horticultural products—from woody ornamentals and perennials to soil amendments and tools—to offer substitutions and recommendations that perfectly match customer needs
Streamlining Operations: Processing sales orders, coordinating with our production and logistics teams to schedule deliveries and pickups, and tracking shipments
Pipeline Management: Keeping our CRM system (experience with tools like Sa) up-to-date with detailed customer interactions and sales activities
Problem Solving: Handling customer inquiries and concerns with a professional, can-do attitude, ensuring every issue is resolved and customer satisfaction is achieved
Continuous Learning: Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, market conditions, and new product offerings to become an invaluable resource for our clients
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related horticulture field
A solid understanding of plants and gardening products, or a strong willingness to learn and absorb new information quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional telephone and email etiquette
The ability to think on your feet, handle objections with empathy, and find creative solutions for customer needs
A positive attitude and the desire to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to quickly learn our internal systems and CRM software
