Responsibilities

Provide technical and program management leadership in the integration across module disciplines with limited guidance
Develop collaborative system level solutions in concert with the Platform and Systems Integration Leaders
Formulate and guide teams toward implementation plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments
Provide leadership defining test plans that meet program objectives
Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams, mentor others in the organization
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and/or tasks
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Provide leadership to help focus and integrate new technologies smoothly into NPI programs and production
Stay cognizant of the GE Aerospace technology roadmap to determine how pipeline technologies can benefit the platform and communicate to the technology council what technologies will be needed to support a future product
Support proposals
Support the teams in modernizing design and systems engineering processes with lean tools
Lead system level reviews, analyses and initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
5 years of relevant experience in gas turbine engines
This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. Citizenship. Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold US Government Security Clearance
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

10 years of relevant experience in gas turbine engines
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
