Governance Accountant - Seattle

Responsibilities

Coordinate North Coast Electric contract review process (customers contracts and vendors contracts) to ensure the defined governance is implemented
You will be in relation with SUSA legal department, as well as North Coast Electric sales and purchasing teams
Collect all the documents necessary for the review, initiate the review, and approval workflow. Communicate with all stakeholders on red flags identified and progress status. Identify any opportunity for improvement in the process
Track all outside legal expenses by main topic / project to ensure transparent, accurate and timely accounting (in coordination with SUSA legal department)
Concur champion for both Expense and Request modules (Travel & entertainment tool), review transactions selected for audit and QCR
Produce regular reporting for managers, and ad-hoc analysis including comparison with Budgeted Travel & Entertainment expenses
Train and guide users within Concur modules
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business required OR equivalent combination of degree and experience including at least 5 years of accounting
5+ years of accounting
Experience in coordinating transversal process(es) with multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in accounting software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks
Career-minded, seeking an opportunity to grow professionally and assist in the overall growth of our company

Preferred

Paralegal certification is a plus, or willingness to acquire
