Responsibilities
Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of new enterprise applications
Support and maintain existing enterprise applications (e.g., DocuSign, Starfish, Eventbrite)
Document system processes, technical specifications, and user procedures
Troubleshoot user issues, escalate complex technical problems, and log resolutions
Provide end-user support and basic training for supported applications
Collaborate with third-party vendors and support integration and security configuration between Furman systems and external solutions
Contribute to data integrity efforts by generating reports, performing audits, and cleaning data as needed
Monitor application performance and report anomalies or system errors to senior staff
Stay current on trends, updates, and best practices relevant to assigned duties and technologies
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Basic understanding of enterprise systems and databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and responsibilities
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive team environment
Preferred
Experience in a higher education setting (e.g., student worker, intern, or employee)
Familiarity with ticketing systems, change management, and IT support workflows
Exposure to data integration concepts, APIs, or system-to-system data exchange
Understanding of data privacy and security in enterprise environments
