Responsibilities
Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool, reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results
Create and implement processes to achieve best in class performance
Identify practices that cause gyration to the supply base and systematically resolve
Collaborate with Supply Planning to achieve inventory targets
Collaborate with Supply Planning to mitigate opportunities
Drive alignment with Sales, Finance, Supply, Product and Engineering teams on demand plan over 2-year planning horizon
Drive efficiency in all areas of work and allocate resources to best achieve expected outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, IT, Management, or Supply Chain
3+ years of experience working in a Demand Planning, or Supply Planning environment required
Preferred
Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Knowledge of Oracle Demand Planning or other ERP software preferred
Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills
Interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process
