Senior/Manager Accounting & Finance Consultant (External Audit Experience Required)
Growth Suite Consulting is a top national accounting services firm expanding its team of accounting and finance professionals. They are seeking individuals with external audit experience to tackle significant financial projects for Fortune 1000 companies, including IPO readiness and mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities
Partner with high-level financial executives to help them implement critical priorities within Fortune 1000 organizations
Assist clients with a wide range of key initiatives and projects, including, but not limited to: Budgeting & Forecasting, Consolidations, Controllership, Divestitures/Carve-Outs, External Audit Preparation and Remediation Efforts, Financial Reporting, Financial Restatements, GL / Month-End Close, IPO Readiness, M&A Integration, Management Reporting, Process Improvement, Project Management, Tax Research and Reporting, Restructuring, SEC & Other Regulatory Reporting, SOX / Internal Audit / Controls, System Implementations, Technical Accounting
Create value for clients by helping improve profits, cash flow, as well as liquidity planning, analysis, and enhancement
Experience a high variety of challenging work- client projects vary in length of time, industry, and focus
Combine unique intangibles with meaningful experience and expertise to deliver superior results
Approach projects with ambition, courage, enthusiasm, and professional maturity
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
3+ years of external audit experience from large CPA firms with, including one busy season as a senior. Combo candidates with external audit and corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation are also considered
Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Services Board (FASB) rules and standards
Strong computer desktop skills required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., macros, pivot tables, etc.) desirable
Demonstrated career progression and job stability
Preferred
CPA or progression toward
Corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation is a plus
