Responsibilities
Leverage Microsoft Fabric for unified data analytics, including integration with Power BI, Azure Synapse, OneLake, and external datasets
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions. Must be able to deliver solutions to production
Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
Visualize data insights using dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
Provide technical direction and best practices for modeling, data engineering, and analytics
Establish good data management practices including data governance and MDM
Establish standards for data quality, model validation, predictive and prescriptive analytics
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
5+ years of experience with manipulating large data sets, identifying patterns, and developing interference and regression models
8+ years of programming expertise including tools such as Power BI and languages such as Python, SPARK, SQL
Proficiency in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem—including Azure ML, Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Power Platform
Solid command of Python and SQL programming
Experience leading complex projects and shaping analytical strategies
Mentoring junior data scientists and engineers
Expertise in robust data governance, security, and scalability
Proven track record in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for model deployment
Experience working with third-party data providers and APIs
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other business applications
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
