The Accounting Specialist is responsible for providing a backup to support the Financial Services district
This position will provide backup support to Financial Services by facilitating and performing administrative and related services; including EFT authorizations, stop payments, warrant processing/tracking, deposits, agency inventory, invoice processing, and other duties as assigned

Attention to detail
Skill in oral and written communication
Ability to analyze and disseminate information required to provide quality work
Skill in prioritization and management of assignments
Knowledge of excel, word, notepad and google email
Skill in work techniques required in maintaining accounting records through automated accounting/banking systems
Skill in analysis and interpretations of financial data
Skill and knowledge in lean management philosophy
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience in data entry and clerical
Preferred
Accounting experience preferred
