Responsibilities
Participate in client meetings and site visits to understand goals, preferences, and project requirements
Create conceptual and detailed landscape plans, including planting designs, hardscapes, grading considerations, and supporting documentation
Prepare accurate project estimates, including materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing
Produce designs and proposals within expected turnaround times to support a smooth sales process
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs can be built efficiently and to Blackjack standards
Revise plans and estimates based on client feedback and evolving project needs
Stay current on regional plant material, construction techniques, and industry trends
Maintain organized project files and clear communication throughout each project cycle
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Dynascape
Strong understanding of plant selection, site planning, and landscape construction
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality
Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
A positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating meaningful outdoor spaces
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field
Previous experience in landscape design and/or estimating
