In this role, you will prepare accurate financial statements and record all balance sheet and income statement activity in accordance with GAAP, while collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support special accounting projects.

Responsibilities
Prepare accurate financial statements according to established schedules
Research, analyze, and summarize financial activity to support decision-making
Review and interpret general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with internal teams—including Structure & Finance and Asset Management—to resolve discrepancies and recommend process improvements
Assist with year-end audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors
Support special accounting projects and initiatives as needed
Demonstrate strong personal and professional integrity while adhering to company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a four-year accredited college or university required
2–3+ years of professional accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) and Outlook required
Strong keyboarding and data-entry skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Preferred
Experience in a real estate environment strongly preferred
CPA certification (or active pursuit) is preferred
