Associated Wholesale Grocers is the nation’s largest cooperative food wholesaler serving independently owned supermarkets. They are seeking a Supply Chain Management Intern for their Upper Midwest Division Support Center operations team, where the intern will gain experience in supply chain management, inventory management, and logistics coordination.

Responsibilities

Gain direct experience with all aspects of supply chain management that ensures products move seamlessly from suppliers to member retailers

Maintain the flow of goods that keep their shelves stocked

Manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and optimize logistics

Travel to AWG Support Center in Kansas City, MO for end of year presentation to executive leadership team

Required

Supply Chain Management major

Junior or senior level students preferred. Recent grads acceptable

Solid communication skills

Strong organization skills

Attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, ability to follow up

Initiative, enthusiasm to learn and ability to follow direction

Ability to commit to a full-time, 40 hour per week, 10-week internship, with the possibility to work overtime as needed. Including regular and reliable attendance throughout the program

Travel to AWG Support Center in Kansas City, MO for end of year presentation to executive leadership team

Relocation for possible full-time positions
