The Data Scientist Intern will be responsible for analyzing large data sets to extract actionable business insights and optimize tools and processes, while presenting findings to leadership at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities
Help discover and extract actionable business insights in vast amounts of data
Use the latest modeling tools to perform analytical tasks
Help make smarter decisions to deliver better tools
Find opportunities for tools suite and process optimization using large data sets
Use models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action
Work with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams
Present work to the leadership team at the end of the internship
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science / Engineering, Data Science or an IT related field
Knowledge of Python with experience in data extraction, analysis, integration and interpretation
Knowledge and experience with Databases like Postgres, Redshift, MSSQL
Knowledge with SQL and Scripting
Strengths in Working with Data and ability to tune SQL Queries for high performance
Knowledge in AWS Environment
Experience to read data from multiple sources and cleanse, enhance and analyze the data
