Riddell is seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to assist with quality standards by working alongside the Quality Manager and Quality Specialist. The role involves performing various inspection procedures on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal requirements and customer standards.

Responsibilities

Conducts visual and measurement quality tests per corporate standards, specifications, and codes

Performs quality tests using a wide variety of inspection/test equipment including, but not limited to: dial calipers, hardness, pin and thread gauges, and tensile testing equipment

Keeps testing/measurement equipment in working order following operating instructions/manuals

Documents inspection results and enters, maintains, or updates data in required logs/spreadsheets

Maintains a safe and healthy environment by adhering to company rules and policies and complying with legal regulations

Communicates information on quality trends and issues to immediate supervisor

Assists with simple engineering projects when required

Prepares and provides required reports/documentation for internal and external audits

Required

Authorized to work in the U.S

High School Degree or equivalent required

Currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Quality Assurance) or related field or an equivalent

Strong Knowledge for MS Office applications, primarily Word, Excel, and Access

Ability to learn and understand basic standard quality tools, sampling techniques, ASQ procedures, and NOCSAE and Compression Deflection testing

Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills

Ability to work well with others

Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills

Preferred

Passion for sports, primarily Football
