Responsibilities

Develop and validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Elemental Analysis using Digital Microscopes integrated with Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS)
Conducted sample preparation and characterization on diverse materials, including metal particles in oil, ceramic refractories, and high-temperature exposed alloys
Transform raw data into actionable technical insights, enabling the engineering team to make data-driven decisions regarding material performance
Utilize various skill sets/knowledge during day-to-day operations and to achieve team/company goals
Create a presentation at the end of your internship to executive leadership regarding what you have learned and what you believe you have contributed to the business

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science
Strong academic performance with a solid understanding of engineering principles
Geographic flexibility to work at various sites
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
High energy and a proactive approach to tackling new challenges
A team player who can collaborate across different levels of the organization
Willingness to spend significant time in the field, gaining hands-on experience and firsthand knowledge of our business operations
