Responsibilities
May assist project teams and administrative staff by preparing or compiling studies, memos, reports, spreadsheets and graphs, drawings, calculations, research and other tasks in support of various transportation projects
May assist project managers with tasks designed to understand the project management process and internal frameworks
May include some fieldwork assisting with construction inspection and data gathering for various projects
Other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned to support the team
Participate in the broader Stantec internship program to learn more about Stantec, meet and engage with other interns and Stantec leaders, and take part in various workshops and speaker series
Qualification
Required
Must be a college student working towards a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Must have good organizational and time management skills, be punctual, reliable, detail oriented, and capable of taking initiative and working independently when needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both office and virtual environments
Microsoft Office experience required
Willingness to perform field work, as needed
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D, MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer, ArcGIS, and/or Adobe Creative Suite software is a plus
Previous internship or co-op experience in similar type work or office environment is a plus
