Cloud Administrator

Information Technology

Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain the company’s cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, SaaS) to ensure optimal performance and scalability
Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security and compliance by monitoring access, usage, and resources
System Backups and Recovery: Perform system backups and recovery to maintain data integrity and availability
Technical Support: Provide technical support for cloud applications and services, and train end users as needed
Collaboration: Work closely with IT security teams to monitor the company’s cloud privacy and respond to technical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Required

Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment
Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates
Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt messages and strategies for diverse audiences
Strong understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes a proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology, or equivalent years of experience
Certified in AZ-500, MS-500, MS-700, AZ-104, or SC-400 or equivalent certification
Minimum of five years in Information Technology
Proven experience in cloud administration, with expertise Azure and other SaaS applications
Ability to successfully pass a background check
Must be able to support core hours of 8am to 5pm PST (pacific standard time)
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred

Six or more years of experience in support of Azure Cloud
Certified as an Azure Administrator Associate, MS-102 Administrator Expert, or equivalent certifications
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISM, or equivalent certifications
Experience and adherence to compliance frameworks: (CMMC Level 2, GovHigh, 32CFR, CUI, FedRAMP, NIST-800, PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, SOC 1 & SOC 2) and internal security best practices
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
Local candidates and Shareholders of Goldbelt are strongly preferred
Experience working with 8(a) companies
Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
Previous government contracting experience
