Responsibilities

Translate Strategy to Operations: Analyze the client's strategic goals (e.g., Decarbonization, Rate Base Growth, Grid Modernization) and map them to a long-term vision utilizing the Celonis platform
Target High-Impact Areas: Architect the COO or CFO agenda—optimizing end-to-end value chains such as Capital Projects (EPC), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Meter-to-Cash, and Supply Chain resilience
Build the Business Case: Construct robust, board-level business cases that articulate the financial impact of Process Intelligence (e.g., impact on O&M efficiency, ROE improvement, or Storm Response agility) to C-Suite executives
Build demos and strategic roadmaps, leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices in order to embed Celonis as a core pillar of the client's digital utility strategy
Undertake Value Assessments and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives
Drive Engagement Success: Lead the executive relationship and value workstream for large-scale transformations, ensuring the program effectively delivers on its digital twin promise across diverse operating companies
Orchestrate the Ecosystem: Guide customers on organization design and the maturation of Centers of Excellence (CoE), mobilizing global cross-functional teams (Services, Product, Engineering) to ensure seamless delivery across a federated organizational structure
Solve Systemic Challenges: Work cross-functionally to tackle difficult implementation hurdles, helping customers define standards for regulatory reporting (FERC/NERC), work order management, and enterprise-wide change initiatives
Facilitate business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement in Operations, Finance, and Procurement
Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives
Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
Codify Best Practices: Turn our client successes into reusable assets, playbooks, and thought leadership for the broader Energy & Utilities practice
Mentor & Enable: Act as a senior leader for the team, coaching junior members and managers on executive relationship management, utility regulatory nuances, and team performance
Product Feedback: Serve as the Voice of the Customer to our Product teams, ensuring our development roadmap aligns with the specific asset-intensive needs of the sector
Responsible for the end-to-end customer value journey, landing, expanding, adoption and renewing
Build a strategic expansion roadmap for customers, embedding Celonis Process Intelligence Platform as a strategic business transformation platform in their organization
Provide feedback to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and Apps based on new use cases

Qualification

Required

15+ years of relevant experience, ideally combining time at a top-tier Utility, Energy Conglomerate, or Renewables developer with Strategy Consulting
Granular knowledge of the value chain, specifically in areas such as Asset Lifecycle Management, Capital Project Controls, Supply Chain, and Customer Operations (CIS)
Track record of driving large-scale transformation programs
Understanding of how to impact the P&L through capital efficiency, outage reduction, and working capital optimization
Understanding of the modern utility stack (SAP IS-U, Maximo, Oracle Primavera) and how to translate Celonis use cases into the customer's specific business landscape
Extensive experience presenting to and influencing C-Level executives (COO, CFO, CIO)
Ability to navigate complex holding company structures and have the power of persuasion through data, facts, and confidence
Comfortable working with ambiguity and possess an entrepreneurial leadership style that inspires teams
MBA strongly preferred; Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field required
