Broadcast Venue Coordinator – FIFA World Cup 26™ | All Host Cities

FIFA World Cup 2026™ is seeking a Broadcast Venue Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of broadcast operations at assigned stadiums. This role is crucial for ensuring that broadcast facilities and services meet the highest international standards during the tournament.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and implementation of all stadium broadcast facilities and services in line with FIFA broadcast and technical requirements
Collaborate closely with FIFA World Cup 2026 functional areas, stadium management, and the Host Broadcaster to align construction, logistics, services, and stadium operations with broadcast needs
Support the Broadcast Operations Stadium Manager in the coordination with the stadium broadcast team, facilitating smooth communication between all broadcast related stakeholders
Facilitate the delivery of all Broadcast operations at the stadium
Support the progress of broadcast facility management implementation, proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies, and escalating urgent matters promptly
Facilitate full compliance and operational readiness of all broadcast infrastructure, including commentary positions, camera platforms, compound areas and connectivity
Co-ordinate the implementation of non-technical services for broadcast (e.g. Security, Cleaning & waste, etc.)
Support on-site broadcast teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear task allocation and accountability
Build and maintain strong relationships with FIFA departments, and local authorities to ensure effective collaboration and timely problem-solving
Represent FIFA’s broadcast interests at venue-level coordination meetings and briefings when the Broadcast Operations Stadium Manager is unavailable
Assist in preparing detailed progress reports and readiness updates throughout planning and delivery phases
Coordinate and support the creation of reports to broadcast HQ during tournament operation on all stadium broadcast operations status
Contribute to post-event assessments, evaluating broadcast operations, identifying opportunities for successes and process improvement
Support processes to guarantee that all broadcast operations uphold FIFA’s sustainability, safety and accessibility standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Operations, Media Production, Event Management, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field preferred
Equivalent professional experience in broadcast operations, large-scale event delivery, or venue/media coordination may be accepted
Experience working in broadcast operations, live events, stadium operations, or major sporting events
Strong understanding of broadcast infrastructure, production needs, commentary setups, and venue technical/non-technical workflows
Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environment
Fluent in English (required)
Familiarity with broadcast systems, production workflows, and operational tools
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
Ability to use digital reporting platforms, operational dashboards, and venue-level management tools

Preferred

Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Previous work at large-scale events, tournaments, or complex venue operations is an advantage
Additional language skills beneficial due to international broadcast teams
