Responsibilities
Oversee a team of 12+ employees, within two Branches, with authority to hire and performance manage the team by ensuring goals are set and monitored. Create an environment where employees are engaged, empowered, enthusiastic and committed to the success of the company by encouraging diverse thoughts and ideas
Provide coaching, feedback, and development to team members ensuring everyone is treated fairly and with respect. This includes interviewing and training, assign and direct work, performance evaluations, and recognition and performance management
Understand the competitive landscape, its impact on the local market and develop strategies to gain market share and reduce loss of current market share
Oversee operational performance and support all sales growth, Inventory Solutions profitability strategies, and other plans in partnership with Sales, Inventory Management, and Market partners
Balance operating expenses with higher level of service, while looking for ways to improve processes and remove non-value-added activities. Monitor controllable expenses to achieve the assigned expense target
Promote district/region related programs and initiatives while creating an environment that promotes teamwork
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
2+ years management experience
Project management, planning, and facilitation skills
