Technical Account Manager, National Security, National Security - ES US-ADC
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the fastest-growing organizations within Amazon, seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support National Security customers. The TAM will act as a strategic technical advisor, driving customer adoption of AWS services and ensuring operational health of their environments.

Responsibilities
Help craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS/EKS, GuardDuty, Systems Manager, CodePipeline, IoT, and many more
Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy
Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, or CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner) or CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or Cloud+ or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
2+ years of technical engineering experience
Experience in Information Technology operations
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred
Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to properly apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutions
Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead
Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more executive team member(s)
Development in a distributed systems environment
Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings
Experience applying technical or operational expertise to identify, balance trade-offs, and solve difficult challenges
