Maintenance Technician (Millwright/Mechanic)

Responsibilities
Service and repair of production related equipment including extensive knowledge in the principles and practical application of pneumatics, hydraulics, chain/belt drives, bushings/bearings/idler systems, gearboxes, pumps, valves, fasteners, seals, gaskets, mechanical fabrication, and rigging
Knowledge and purpose of lubrication as well as identifying best types of lubrication for situation
Welding/Cutting: Knowledge and utilization of PPE and safety for tasks, techniques (stick/mig/tig), set up of equipment, basic gas cutting, proper grounding and equipment maintenance
Be able to troubleshoot and repair semi-complex mechanical machinery to include pumps, fans, meters, control valves, liquid and dry material conveyance, direct and indirect belt and chain driven systems, pneumatic systems etc
Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical test apparatus
Intermediate ability to fabricate mechanical systems
Qualification
Required
1+ years' mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military, or related environment -OR- 2-year Technical Degree
