Responsibilities

Serve as technical coordinator for Readiness Based Sparing Systems such as Aircraft Sustainability Model (ASM) & Servigistics
Develop interactive data analytics dashboards to monitor and improve operational performance
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization
Collaborate with leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making
Conduct Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and recommend strategic solutions
Maintain and enhance existing databases and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Deliver in-depth reports and presentations to senior leadership with clear, actionable insights
Monitor key metrics and ensure performance against defined benchmarks and KPIs
Identify emerging data trends and recommend proactive measures to address issues before they impact performance
Participate in customer-level meetings, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and planning sessions to align technical solutions with program objectives
Review system design documents to ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and contractual requirements

Required

7 Years of technical experience in Aerospace Engineering (or a related technical discipline: Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Etc), Data Science, Data Analysis, Physics, or Mathematics (use of stochastic and deterministic data models)
Experience with/knowledge of (one or more common languages e.g., Python, SQL, and R), statistics (descriptive and inferential), data processing and/or data visualization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and understanding of system databases, data elements and/or application software solutions to optimize data gathering and analysis
Project Management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office tool suite

Preferred

Emphasis in modeling, data manipulation, and/or the application of mathematical and statistical methods to apply to business and risk management problems
Experience with critical interactions and relationships between cross-functional teams (i.e. engineering, supply chain, sustainment, contracts, business management, finance, and/or aerospace program office)
ETL/Data Miner experience in one or more of the following: Pentaho, SAP BODS, KNIME, Alteryx, Kettle, AWS Glue
Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Self-Service, QlikView, PowerBI, or other similar tools
Experience with Discrete event simulation (DES) models that replicates the behavior of a system/process by tracking status changes over time
In depth experience with peacetime/steady state Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) optimization models
Ability to adapt business processes into automated tools
Understanding of performance metric measures or KPI reporting techniques a plus
Experience in Oracle and/or HANA
Ability to program or create a script to automate data transformations or data analysis in at least one of the following languages: Python, Microsoft VB, Microsoft VBA, R, SAS, C-Sharp, C++, Fortran, XML, Structured Query Language (SQL), Hana SQL, MatLab, Minitab, Java, or Tableau
