Responsibilities

Manages and participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design using Agile methodologies
Serve as technical expert on development projects
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
Support, maintain, and document software functionality
Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
Managers and participates in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
Collaborate & lead tech teams consisting of employees & vendor company contractors in planning and execution, serving as an technology leader
Collaborate with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field
4+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use in an agile environment
Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented systems design and Application Development
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

Experience implementing cloud technologies preferably AWS technologies (such as Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Cognito, route53, Document DB, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway)
Experience with Amazon MSK, Apache Kafka, provisioning clusters is a big plus
Experience with Cloud Automation Development Tool such as Git, Python/Bash/PowerShell Scripting
Experienced with hands-on development and proficient excellence in backend API development using any of Node.js, Java or Python
Experience with Web Services building with at least one of languages like Java, .NET, Python, GO, Web API's, Web Sockets
Strong Experience with SQL and preferable experience with no-SQL DB's like Document DB or MongoDB
Airlines industry experience is a plus
