Responsibilities
Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion
Conduct structural analysis and design for various infrastructure projects including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls
Collaborate with design teams to develop detailed shop drawings and construction details
Perform optimization and design calculations to enhance project efficiency
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all engineering practices
Review and approve engineering designs and documents produced by other engineers on the team
Conduct site assessments and geotechnical investigations as needed
Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, MathCAD, STAAD, and PLAXIS for structural modeling and finite element analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineer, Geotechnical Engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year
3+ years of experience in geotechnical and structural engineering in concrete/construction industry
Strong knowledge of concrete systems, prestressed beams, retaining walls, bridge systems, culverts and modular building design
Proficiency in structural analysis design and geotechnical engineering principles
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to civil and structural engineering
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
