Responsibilities
Ensure application of company policies and accounting guidelines
Support timely resolution of issues
Support accurate and timely processing of subledger and GL recordings
Support awareness and adherence to internal controls
Ensure delivery of timely and accurate financial reports
Participate in month end close activities; prepare journal entries and enter journal entries for posting such as fixed asset, sales/marketing programs and warranty cost analysis
Create master data records and maintain subledger entries
Advise internal departments
Provide information and answers to financial and JSOX auditors
Prepare the parents company reporting package
GL accounts reconciliation and analysis; including fluctuation analysis
Create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures for responsible tasks
Qualification
Required
Advanced Excel experience; including manipulating large datasets, creating complex formulas, and generating reports
Demonstrated success applying GAAP (IFRS) to financial reporting
Experience with ERP
Progressive experience in general ledger accounting in a corporate environment
Progressive experience with account reconciliation/intercompany reconciliations and reserve balance analysis
Experience with reporting systems
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Knowledge of Oracle
5+ years related experience in general ledger accounting in corporate environment
