Responsibilities
Act as strategic business partner to commercial functions, translating global business needs into impactful learning solutions as conceptual Therapeutic Area lead within the GCL+D team
Work cross-functionally with the GCLD Operations team and instructional designers to design and implement disease and product training programs for sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams in Gilead affiliates
Drive the integration of digital, AI and Learning Metrics tools into our commercial capabilities
Collaborate closely with global CL&D teams to align and localize global initiatives
Coordinate Training materials with tactical campaigns, launch readiness, and continuous development programs
Manage external training partners, vendors, and contractors to ensure high-quality delivery
Represent GCL+D in cross-functional and global projects and contribute to commercial excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and Ten Years' Experience
OR
Master's Degree and Eight Years' Experience
OR
PhD and Two Years' Experience
Preferred
Experience working in a global marketplace, including collaboration with affiliates and stakeholders across multiple countries and regions
Extensive experience in pharma/biotech, ideally in commercial training or education
Strong knowledge and experience of the global healthcare landscape
Demonstrated ability to manage a complex workload and multiple projects simultaneously
Effective delegation skills, with experience leading teams and external partners
Proven ability to manage multiple time zones and adapt to diverse cultural contexts
Strong conceptual and strategic thinking, with hands-on execution skills
Exceptional virtual and written communication skills, with the capability to engage and influence stakeholders remotely
Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment and influence without authority
Experience working in a matrix environment with a strong drive for operational excellence and tactical execution
