Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and support cloud-native solutions using OCI and leading open-source tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Containers, etc.)
Design and build event-driven and distributed systems leveraging OCI Services (e.g., Oracle Streaming, Functions, API Gateway)
Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
Work closely with customers in pre-sales, onboarding, and in-production phases to troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure effective adoption of OCI’s cloud-native capabilities
Serve as a technical advisor and advocate for best practices related to security, scalability, and high-availability in cloud-native architectures
Partner with product and engineering teams to provide real-world feedback, influence roadmap, and contribute technical collateral such as whitepapers, reference architectures, and solution briefs
Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, learning-oriented environment

Required

3-5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or cloud architecture roles, with a focus on cloud-native technologies
Demonstrated expertise with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE, or ideally OCI OKE), Docker, and cloud-native ecosystem tools (e.g., Istio, Envoy, Helm, Prometheus, Fluentd)
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven/messaging-based patterns (Kafka, streaming, serverless)
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash/Shell, Go, or similar)
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Solid grasp of core networking, container security, and IAM concepts in a public cloud environment (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting distributed systems
Strong customer-facing skills in technical advisory, pre-sales, or consulting capacities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; relevant certifications are a plus

Preferred

Broad understanding of emerging trends and best practices in cloud native architecture
Exposure to enterprise compliance, security, and governance frameworks
Awareness of industry-specific requirements and use cases for cloud native solutions
Engagement with the cloud native community through publications, presentations, or professional networks
