Entegris is currently seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join their Advanced Purity Solutions Division. The Purchasing Specialist will manage purchase orders and supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of raw materials for manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Create and process direct material purchase orders in SAP to approved suppliers

Manage supplier order and delivery confirmations, updating order details into SAP in a timely manner

Proactively identify and action procurement exception messages in support of production needs

Resolve shipping, receiving, warehouse, and customs related issues in a timely manner

Manage and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking

Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers

Actively participate in timely resolution of supplier quality issues causing raw material shortages/constraints. Obtaining return material authorization (RMA) and processing returns to vendor (RTV) with support of material review board (MRB) team

Manage invoice exceptions and resolve issues with suppliers and finance

Coordinate consigned raw materials to contract manufacturers for use in their production as needed

Coordinate/communicate with planning and production teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules

Maintain material master and purchasing info record data in SAP to optimize purchasing methods

Create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees

Any other duties as assigned

Required

Combination of BS/BA degree required in Business or related field or 2+ years working in a buyer/procurement role within a high-volume manufacturing facility

Understanding of the operational process of purchasing

Able to make use of Power BI, Excel, SAP reports to execute data driven decisions

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to work in self-directed environment

Open mindset with curiosity to research problems

Ability to drive issues to resolution

Cost consciousness
