Responsibilities

Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures
Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place
Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action
Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements
Develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity
Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conduct product quality tests, perform statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications
Engage in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs

Required

Demonstrate extreme ownership of the entire Supply Chain Quality lifecycle for several Commercial Civil Space (CCS) programs
Apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, requirements development, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, process standardization, and/or production support as they apply to product or process quality for major subcontracted products
Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures
Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place

Preferred

Experience with Supply Chain Quality Engineering and customer and/or supplier facing roles
Quality MRB Certification
Proven ability working independently and with minimal supervision
A self starter who can identify and resolve challenges and road blocks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
