Responsibilities

Motivate your team to proactively engage with prospects and referral sources
Participate in sourcing and interviewing Community Relations Directors
Generate creative sales ideas and collaborate with Marketing/Advertising to drive traffic
Build and maintain relationships with corporate referral agencies like A Place for Mom
Train new Community Relations Directors on our sales and marketing playbook
Assist on-site teams with sales closing and outreach relationship building using our Sales & Marketing Playbook and lead tracking software (Yardi)
Provide one-on-one sales coaching through weekly calls and analyze occupancy reports
Conduct weekly regional Focus Calls for under-performing properties
Collect and manage quarterly marketing plans for each community
Compile and manage bi-annual competitor analyses by county, including new development areas
Manage the positioning of all communities with the Marketing team in terms of branding, marketing, and advertising
Stay updated on senior living industry trends relevant to your department
Conduct 20-minute training sessions on current sales systems issues at Executive Director meetings
Coordinate with the operations team to manage budgeted sales and marketing expenses
Travel to various locations and attend corporate meetings as needed
Maintain and increase occupancy and revenue through outreach sales training and relationship building

Required

Minimum of five years of experience in leasing with proven success
Ability to manage a budget
Ability to travel 70% of the time
Excellent communication skills and a compassion for older adults
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
High degree of interpersonal relationship skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Considerable initiative, judgment, and leadership skills
Proficient telephone skills
Strong problem-solving and logic skills
Proficient computer skills

Preferred

Degree in sales and marketing or a related field preferred
Sales management experience preferred
