EDC Partner, Gaggenau

The EDC Partner will provide exceptional service to clients, focusing on Gaggenau product expertise, and will be responsible for cultivating business within the architecture and design community, managing events, and training staff.

Responsibilities

Provides exceptional service to meet the needs of the (Experience & Design Center) EDC clients and visitors with a focus on Gaggenau Product and Brand expertise
Meets with Gaggenau clients and provides solutions to their appliance specification needs and provides design guidance as needed in relation to the appliances in their projects
Creates detailed lists of appliances for clients based on their project needs and pairs the consumer with an appropriate retail dealer for purchasing
Drives outreach and cultivates business with the architecture and design community to create brand and product awareness working with the Gaggenau Trade Concierge Manager and EDC Team
Maintains Gaggenau showroom merchandising standards and works with EDC manager for current product assortments, service needs and visual standards
Leads all Gaggenau in-EDC trainings for co-workers, dealers, trade, BSH teams and developer projects
Creates training curriculums for the different sales channels following the practices of adult education learning, to be used in EDC and virtually
Guides the EDC Culinary staff on training needs and recipe development for hands-on training experiences
Assists in the execution of trade specific events to maintain and enhance product knowledge and market awareness to drive sales results
Prepares/delivers Gaggenau Brand and Product presentations for all levels of BSH and industry partners
Makes decisions for the planning, management, and execution of national-level programs, events, and meetings (e.g., builders, dealers, and professional trade organizations) at local EDC
Manages Gaggenau luxury partner opportunities and execution of luxury consumer programs/events at local EDC. Oversees programs end-to-end including identifying/securing luxury partners, run-of-event, budgets/vendors, hosting, and coordination with Mgr. EDC
Travel in market for cultivation of luxury partners’ development and act as brand ambassador at regional events and networking opportunities
Manages Gaggenau in-person EDC program/event websites and communications
When applicable for program, includes oversight of
Air travel
Hotel rooming list
Transportation at local EDC
Restaurants/entertainment at local EDC
Create/Implement Response Surveys/Reporting tracking on monthly sales appointments, training and event attendance and feedback
Maintains calendar of Gaggenau appointments, events, trainings
Identifies and manages Gaggenau-related vendors, contractors; administrative processes, Gaggenau EDC budget
Develops and manages Gaggenau processes for consumer and trade outreach utilizing CRM software; builds and maintains relationships with dealers
Creates and delivers EDC Gaggenau reporting and KPIs, based on lead generation, sales conversions, partner management
Support Trade and Sales Managers for training events in-stores or offsite locations as needed
Works in coordination with Mgr. EDC, to be sure all schedules and EDC resources are aligned

Required

Bachelor's degree
3-5 Years of Experience (Sales experience in a showroom setting)
3-5 Years of Experience (Adult learning /training)
3-5 Years of Experience (event management / community partnership creation)
Understand and apply standard levels learning measurement and evaluation
Understand and apply best practices of instructional knowledge principals and methods of adult education and presentation techniques
Must have solid knowledge of Gaggenau brand & products, as well as those of competitors
Education and/or strong career experience of spatial planning and kitchen design
Strong understanding of the industry's retail sales environment and operations of the business
Able to communicate effectively and present to small, medium, and large audiences
Have good facilitation and presentations skills and deliver training in an engaging fashion
Self-motivated and able to thrive in both a team and highly autonomous setting
Conduct oneself as a professional representative of a luxury brand with polish, energy, and enthusiasm
Excellent interpersonal skills, written, computer skills, and organizational skills
Direct working knowledge of the luxury household appliance industry
Direct working knowledge of the luxury design/build industry
Experience in event planning and execution
Use of CRM system, like Sales Force, basic Microsoft suite use- Excel, Word, PPT
Understand/create sales tracking and ability to define/measure KPIs
Must be able to drive locally and have an active driver's license in good standing with the DMV
May travel to other BSH locations / dealers as needed
Travel Percentage – 30%

Preferred

Certification (interior design /spatial planning)
3-5 Years of Experience (luxury sales/business development)
3-5 Years of Experience (spatial planning / interior architecture)
3-5 Years of Experience (Sales experience in a showroom setting)
CEU certification (or ability to be certified within first 6 mo of role)
