Responsibilities

Help craft and implement contractual documentation

Support contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and the federal government

Review contractual terms, identify risks, and negotiate on behalf of the company

Coordinate contract implementations between the company and subcontractors while ensuring both parties are adhering to obligations

Quarterly review and maintain all contract records, while guaranteeing thorough and accurate compliance

Coordinate and support contract administration across departments

Support government compliance activities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field

8-10 years of experience in contract administration or a related role, preferably in the aerospace industry and/or a technology startup environment

Strong understanding of contract law, including contract formation, interpretation, and implementation

Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable terms and conditions while maintaining positive relationships with partners and vendors

Experience working on contracts with the U.S. government

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred

Experience in a similar role within the aerospace industry and/or a technology startup environment

Advanced degree or certification (i.e., JD, CPCM)

Experience working in the space industry or with NASA or DoD contracts, including familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS)

Knowledge of intellectual property rights and licensing agreements related to space technology

Experience with international contracts and cross-border transactions
