Responsibilities
Develop and drive the overall experience design vision aligned with company goals, target audiences, and the product roadmap for ApartmentIQ
Own the design system, along with a plan for evolutionary implementation to bring the vision to reality over time
Collaborate with product and engineering to prioritize and spec out new features
Work directly with engineering to ensure a feature gets built, balancing your vision, technical feasibility, and user value
Design new features all the way from concept to finalized pixels
Conduct user research to gain deep insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points. Utilize findings to inform and validate design decisions
Qualification
Required
8+ years of UX product design with a portfolio showcasing the impact of your work on the business
Experience working on a small design team and 'doing it all'
Enjoy going deep on both UX and UI work
Clear communicator and enjoy working closely with partners across teams, particularly in engineering
Invested in your craft and have experience with data visualization and interaction design
Experience mentoring and providing guidance to other designers
