Responsibilities
Lead and manage construction projects from ground up, ensuring timely completion within budget
Coordinate with subcontractors, general contractors, and stakeholders to maintain project schedules and resolve any issues
Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures
Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations and building codes
Prepare and review change orders, RFIs, and project proposals as needed
Conduct site surveys and ensure safety protocols are followed on-site
Utilize project management software such as Procore, Viewpoint, BuilderTrend, and Fieldwire to track project progress
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to keep all parties informed of project status
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with ground up projects in the commercial, healthcare, education, or public sector verticals
Experience managing large projects from $5M to $15M in size
Strong knowledge of construction management processes, including permits, change orders, and safety regulations
Experience with Procore, Viewpoint, BuilderTrend, and Fieldwire
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with retail, commercial, healthcare, public municipality, high-rise, mixed-use, and school construction projects is a plus
PMP certification is a PLUS
