Responsibilities
The Security Associate greets, welcomes and assists patients, visitors, employees and guests to Women & Infants Hospital
The incumbent will also escort patients, visitors and guests about the hospital or campus, providing direction as needed or requested
Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills when handling situations with staff, patients and guests of the hospital
Assists with the notification of patient discharges using the teletracking system
Must maintain a professional image and discretion when performing job duties
May perform other related receptionist and clerical duties as assigned or directed
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent
Proficiency in the English language required
Strong interpersonal skills necessary
If hired after 1/1/2010 then must have familiarity with computer programs
Preferred
Fluency in Spanish desirable
Bilingual strongly preferred
