Parts Outside Sales Rep
Parkway Family Auto Group is a locally owned and operated company in the Houston area with over 40 years of service. They are seeking an experienced Outside Sales representative for their wholesale parts department to build customer relationships, manage inventory, and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities
Wholesale Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers, including repair shops, body shops, and fleet operators. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and quick resolutions to issues
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for wholesale demand. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize shortages, overstocking, and dead stock
Sales and Profitability: Develop and execute strategies to increase wholesale parts sales. Monitor sales trends, pricing structures, and margin targets to ensure the department meets financial goals
Order Processing and Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and timely processing of wholesale orders, including product sourcing, pricing, and delivery coordination. Resolve any order discrepancies in a prompt manner
Supplier Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with parts vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, order fulfillment, and terms. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues with product quality or delivery delays
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback. Use data and industry insights to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
Customer Support: Address customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Ensure parts are delivered in a timely manner and meet or exceed customer expectations
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the domestic automotive parts industry
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components, including aftermarket, OEM, and performance parts
Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is essential
Ability to identify new sales opportunities, negotiate pricing, and maintain profitability while meeting customer needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Driver's License (Required)
