Responsibilities
Knowledgeable in client and server operating systems, networking hardware, protocols, and administration, with expertise in systems integration within highly secure, multi-tiered IT environments
Conduct comprehensive system analyses to identify technology or process gaps and make informed recommendations for improvement
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new technologies and services. Communicate project status and closure updates to key stakeholders to ensure alignment
Lead or co-lead complex global digital and IT projects, ensuring timely delivery of results that align with organizational objectives. Offer strategic direction to project resources across multiple teams
Serve as the primary liaison for communications and project expectations with third-party IT and service vendors
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their professional development and strengthen team capabilities
Foster an environment where team members feel empowered to provide feedback and share innovative ideas
Clearly communicate decisions and formalize recommendations impacting your area of responsibility to managers, business partners, and key stakeholders
Deliver innovative solutions while effectively managing conflicting priorities and resources
Participate in root-cause analysis and postmortem discussions to drive improvements in operational health
Analyze and identify process gaps, implementing solutions to streamline execution and reduce manual effort
Conduct knowledge transfer and cross-training sessions to promote continuous learning within the team
Be prepared to travel as needed and provide after-hours technical support to meet operational requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (or international equivalent)
4 + years related IT experience
Experienced in managing Dell VxRail, Nutanix, and comparable hyper-converged infrastructure platforms
Proficient in managing and optimizing virtual machine environments utilizing vSphere and VMware
Experienced in managing Microsoft Azure workloads and optimization
Experienced in using ServiceNow for ticket, change, problem management, and escalation
Proficient with MS Office 365 application suite and tools
Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
Proven experience in leading IT projects and managing cross-functional teams
Preferred
Skilled in automating data center and server management tasks using Bash, PowerShell, and Python, while leveraging REST and SOAP protocols
Certifications from leading server vendors such as Dell, HP, or Cisco are highly desirable
Experience with open-source tools like GIT and Ansible
