Managing the daily operations and administrative functions of university departments
Office management
Scheduling
Coordination of activities across departments
Providing administrative services to the organizations schools/units/leadership
Preparing documents of varying complexity
Managing the collection, recording, sorting and filing of data/information
Preparing reports
Making travel arrangements
Arranging appointments/meetings
Responding to inquiries
Performing work of a clerical nature, providing office support under direct supervision
Consulting with supervisors for most decisions outside of standard operating procedures
Communicating information that requires little explanation or interpretation
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or Equivalent
No experience required
Job requires sitting for prolonged periods
Frequently bending/stooping
Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly
Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs
May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease
