Responsibilities

Ensure system reliability by performing timely troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on Omnicell’s automation solutions
Drive customer trust and satisfaction by building strong relationships with nursing and pharmacy leadership, serving as a knowledgeable and responsive technical partner
Support product innovation by analyzing complex service issues and escalating bugs or design concerns to engineering and hardware teams
Enhance product performance through actionable field feedback that informs continuous improvement
Represent Field Services in cross-functional initiatives and field projects that shape the future of healthcare automation
Elevate team capability by mentoring junior technicians and sharing best practices
Maintain operational excellence through accurate documentation, inventory management, and adherence to service level agreements
Empower end users by delivering basic product training and ensuring confidence in system usage

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline; or Associates Degree/Trade School Certification/Military Training in an Engineering/Technology related discipline; or five years equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline AND one year of relevant experience; OR Associates Degree/Trade School Certification/Military Training in an Engineering/Technology related discipline, AND four years of relevant experience; OR seven years equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic, mechanical, or computer devices

Preferred

Hands on repairs, troubleshooting, root cause analysis experience working on pneumatic or hydraulic complex machinery that may include Industrial manufacturing equipment/machinery, Aircraft systems, Robotic Systems, or anything similar etc
Experience working in a high volume environment that requires 24/7 on call support
Passion for trade based work
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline
Experience working in a hospital environment
