Responsibilities
Lead control panel design, including detailed layouts, power distribution, and component selection
Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs using AutoCAD Electrical
Program PLC-based control systems and develop HMI applications
Design and implement control strategies for automation hardware
Troubleshoot and resolve control system and panel issues
Be the lead electrical person on various projects. Responsibilities include selecting electrical contractors, setting and adhering to the overall project schedule and budget, and ensuring a safe, quality installation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering- Electrical, or Industrial preferred
3+ years of relevant experience
PLC & HMI programming capabilities required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of personnel within the Company, and with outside vendors, suppliers, and contractors
Experience using personal computers in a work environment for spreadsheet, document presentation, and drawing preparation
Ability to perform safely and efficiently in a time sensitive environment
Ability to travel 35%
Preferred
Experience with Rockwell Automation systems
Knowledge of motor control and power distribution design in low to medium voltage applications
Experience in an industrial setting with electrical controls experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation products
Experience with industrial networking protocols
Experience with 480Vac 3 phase electrical circuits also highly preferred
Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution desired
Experience with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, AutoCAD and Rockwell Software products preferred
