Responsibilities

Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to perform disassembly/assembly of engines, engine modules and components
Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly, as specified by work instructions, comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards
Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives

Qualification

Required

HS Diploma or GED equivalent
1+ years' experience in aviation mechanic role or appropriate technical training (ASE certification or military equivalent)
Basic understanding of Disassembly, Assembly, Test (DAT)

Preferred

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License OR Powerplant (P) Certificate OR 2+ years' relevant experience
Basic understanding of continuous improvement principles such as Lean Six Sigma or RTX's CORE Operating System
Engine overhaul and repair experience, GTF and/or F117, PW2000, in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, Turbine Engine Test Operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
