Responsibilities

Assist in development in Roadway Design plans and contract documents

Although expected to work independently, this individual must be able to interact well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team

Willingness to gain experience in business development / marketing, including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars

High degree of interpersonal and communication skills is necessary

Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills

Comfortable to manage and develop business client relationships

Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited school

Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain

0-3 years' experience in the design of streets and highways

Experience with federal, state, and local regulations that pertain to the design of street and/or highway projects

Experience with Microstation Roadway Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D software

High degree of interpersonal and communication skills is necessary

Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills

Comfortable to manage and develop business client relationships

Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles
