Mid LevelTalentsearchpro is an industrial manufacturing company seeking a Plant Operations Manager to oversee daily operations in Ayer. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of automated production systems and equipment
Lead, coach, and schedule a small team (3 employees) to ensure productivity, safety, and quality
Operate production machinery and heavy equipment as needed to support daily workflow
Assist machine operators on the floor and troubleshoot basic issues to keep production running smoothly
Maintain compliance with OSHA, DEP, and environmental/safety requirements
Analyze production, downtime, and performance data to identify process improvements using LEAN concepts
Ensure facility readiness to accept incoming materials and deliver finished products on time
Support special projects that improve efficiency, sustainability, and plant performance
Qualification
Required
Candidates should come from industries such as recycling, aggregate, quarries, oil and gas, paper and pulp, or other industrial and highly physical environments
Oversee day-to-day operations of automated production systems and equipment
