Embedded Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop Unit Tests in Embedded C for Arm Cortex and PIC microcontrollers
Test Verification for DO-178
High-level and low-level test case and procedure development per DO-178
Independent review of design, test cases, and test procedures
Review and integration of third-party verification and validation (V&V) vendor tests
Issue creation with problem reporting tools
Utilization of Vectorcast
Pipeline automation for CI/CD
Reports to satisfy V&V documentation requirements

Required

High-level and low-level test case and procedure development per DO-178
Independent review of design, test cases, and test procedures
Review and integration of third-party verification and validation (V&V) vendor tests

Utilization of Vectorcast
Pipeline automation for CI/CD
Reports to satisfy V&V documentation requirements
Have received a BA/BS Degree in, Computer Science or Electrical & Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history
3-5 years of experience Skill based years of experience
U.S. Citizens Only (ITAR, CUI, NOFORN)
Experience with embedded software languages
Knowledge of tools and test methods needed to debug firmware solutions
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen, 5S, 6σ)
Experience with Agile and waterfall development approaches
Understanding of the DO-178 certification process from design to certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management and organizational skills
