Engineering Tech, 2nd Shift
Re:Build Manufacturing is a growing family of industrial and engineering businesses located in Avon, Ohio, focusing on high-quality components and assemblies within the aerospace industry. They are seeking an Engineering Technician for the 2nd shift who will be responsible for operating Wire EDM machines, adhering to quality standards, and supporting production operations with a strong emphasis on detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Set up and operate Wire EDM machines for production parts and tooling builds
Properly use metrology equipment
Read and understand customer blueprints and adhere to tolerances in conjunction with AS9100 quality standards
Safely, accurately, and efficiently use hand tools and operate production equipment
Complete Bridgeport milling tasks and set up and operate WEDM machines
Prepare materials for CNC milling and assist with first part qualifications on 3 & 5-axis routers
Conduct small production runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient workflow
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
Support Lean process improvements and additional production operations as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience with manufacturing processes
Strong focus on quality and precision
Thorough attention to detail
Passion for delivering top-tier outcomes
Ability to set up and operate Wire EDM machines for production parts and tooling builds
Properly use metrology equipment
Read and understand customer blueprints and adhere to tolerances in conjunction with AS9100 quality standards
Safely, accurately, and efficiently use hand tools and operate production equipment

Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately and work well under production deadlines
Language Skills – Ability to read, write and understand English
Preferred
An Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field
Experience with wire EDM machines and familiarity with Bridgeport mills
Basic computer knowledge, with CAM software experience being beneficial
